Robbie's love split

Robbie Williams and his long-term girlfriend Ayda Field have split up.
The pair had been going out for 14 months, but it sounds like the actress got bored with the singer's reclusive ways.
An insider told the Daily Mirror: "Ayda wanted to go to a few more parties and meet people. But Robbie has shunned the party-loving lifestyle for a quieter, less public life."
The Stoke-born star - now based in Los Angeles and worth an estimated £130m - rarely goes out these days, having publicly battled against drink, drug addictions and depression in the past.
The 34-year-old is said to be heartbroken over the split.
"Robbie is absolutely gutted the relationship has ended," said the source.
"He thought Ayda was his soulmate, and the most beautiful woman he has ever met, so he was desperate for it to work.
"Unfortunately, the timing was not right for them, and after being on-off for a while, they've finally decided to call it quits. They are still very good friends though."
It sounds like Robbie's not short on offers for a new girlfriend - having already turned down lots of potential dates - but he has apparently thrown himself into his music and is working hard on a new album.
"He doesn't want a new relationship to distract his work now," the insider added.
"Robbie is dead serious about his music, it's his number one focus. He's in the recording studio 24/7."
The singer's friends reckon his new album will be his best yet - leaving behind the hip-hop style that saw his last album Rudebox flop, with a return to his classic 'Angels' sound.
